A Chef Prince signature dish. Quick, easy, and YUM-TASTIC — a family pack of Atlantic salmon roasted with Chef Prince's secret seasoning sequence: salt, then granulated, then flaky. Trust the order.
Ingredients
- Atlantic salmon sheet (family pack): about 2.5–3 lbs
- Pink Himalayan salt: 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper: 1 tablespoon
- Onion powder: 1 tablespoon
- Granulated garlic: 1 tablespoon
- Oregano: 1 tablespoon
- Parsley: 1 tablespoon
- Old Bay or Adobo (optional): 1 tablespoon
- Cooking spray
- Large baking sheet
Instructions
-
Set oven to HIGH BROIL.
-
Cut salmon sheet into steaks. Clean the salmon steaks with a couple lemons, or vinegar, etc.
-
VERY IMPORTANT! Dry the top of your salmon pieces with a few sheets of paper towel.
-
Lightly spray the entire baking sheet with the cooking oil. Arrange salmon steaks on the baking sheet (allowing for space between pieces).
-
Lightly spray the tops of the salmon steaks with the cooking spray.
-
Mix seasoning in a bowl and apply to top of salmon steaks. Chef’s Secret: apply the seasoning in the following sequence — salt first, then fine/granulated seasoning, and finally flaky seasonings.
-
Pop your baking sheet in the oven (towards the top, where the coils are) UNCOVERED for 3–5 minutes. Note: adjust as necessary for your broiler. Rotate your baking sheet 180 degrees (turn it around). Let it cook for another 3 minutes. Rotate it again, then once more after another 3 minutes.
-
Pop your baking sheet out of the oven — THAT’S IT!
-
IMPORTANT — cut a sheet of (heavy) foil big enough to cover the whole baking sheet, and COVER YOUR SALMON and LET IT SIT.
Quick… Easy… YUM-TASTIC!!!
